It depends on the tree and the job. Size, type, access, and hazards all matter. That is why we give you a free on-site estimate with written pricing, so you know the cost before any work starts.

A tree may need to come out when it is dead, unstable, badly diseased, heavily storm-damaged, in the way of building, or a real risk to people or property. A pro should check first to see if careful pruning could save it, or whether it just needs watching, instead of coming out.

Warning signs include large dead branches, cracks, cavities, decay, mushrooms near the base, damaged roots, a sudden lean, soil lifting on one side, or a split trunk. Do not stand under or near a tree that looks unstable. Give us a call and we will take a look.

Sometimes. It depends on the type of tree, how much damage there is, its overall health, and what is under it. Careful pruning may help when the tree still has good structure and value, and sometimes it just needs monitoring. Our arborists will give you an honest answer.

Because they often cover different work. One quote might include the crane, hauling, stump grinding, and full cleanup, while another only covers cutting the tree. Compare what is included, plus insurance and cleanup, not just the final number.

Not automatically. Removal usually leaves a stump unless stump grinding is listed. Just ask us to include the stump size, grinding depth, and debris cleanup in your quote.

Yes. We do emergency and storm-damage work. For anything urgent, call one of our numbers instead of using a form. If we are not in the office, leave a message and we will get right back to you.

Always. We haul away the limbs, debris, and logs and leave your property clean. Cleanup is part of the job.

No. Topping does lasting damage and grows back weak and unsafe. We prune to industry standards to protect the long-term health of your trees.

Yes. We run a tree crane set up specifically for removals. It lets us lift large sections up and out over a house or backyard instead of dropping them, which is often the safest way to take down the biggest, trickiest trees and to speed up storm cleanup.

Yes. Lot clearing for builders and developers is one of our top services. We handle full or selective clearing, brush and debris removal, and log pickup and hauling, and we work with your timeline to keep the project moving.

Often, yes. A lot of the trees that fail in a windstorm are top-heavy ones that have not been pruned in years. Thinning and shaping the canopy lets wind pass through so a tree bends instead of breaking, and it costs a fraction of storm cleanup and repairs. Our ISA Certified Arborists prune to industry standards, and we never top a tree.
